About the Artist
Bio-technologist and MBA by accident - Artist by choice!
Hello! I’m Nidhi, a contemporary artist, currently residing in the enchanting city of Paris, I embarked on my artistic journey as a self-taught artist back in 2010. It was the captivating aura of the City of Lights that ignited my creative spirit. My debut solo exhibition took place in Paris in December 2012, where I brought to life the rich tapestry of Indian culture and mythology. Having lived in Japan, Nepal and UAE as an expat, my work has found its way into exhibitions and homes worldwide.
My artistic soul has always been drawn to textures and the vivid spectrum of colours, and I initially began my artistic career as a palette knife artist. Over time, I delved into the world of oil, acrylic, and free-flowing media, mastering the intricate art of layering colours and materials to craft illusions of dimension and depth.
A few years ago, I discovered my love for resin art, uncovering its boundless creative potential. My resin geode art incorporates elements like coloured glass, acrylic beads, and crystal quartz points, each chosen for their intrinsic healing properties, aimed at balancing chakras and infusing positivity into spaces.
My commitment to “art for a cause” has led me to collaborate with charitable organizations, where I contribute my artwork to fundraising auctions. These endeavours have supported various causes, including the education of underprivileged children in Kenya.
For me, colours serve as symbols of life’s vitality, a concept vividly expressed in my vibrant and three-dimensional art pieces. My creative inspirations are deeply rooted in the diverse cultures and experiences I’ve encountered during my travels and residencies in different countries.
When you invest in an Artistique ART, you not only acquire something uniquely decorative but also practical. It’s the perfect gift, even if it’s a gift to yourself! I warmly invite you to step into my world of art, where colours come alive, and stories unfold with each stroke of the brush. Welcome!
